This family is FUN!!! I had a wonderful time photographing The Vitta’s. They are good friends of my past client’s, and when they called me to photograph their family, I was so thrilled. We started off in their beautiful Manhattan Beach home, and then ended the session on the sand a few short blocks away.
Mom, Lisa is a very talented interior designer and actress. I was amazed at every polished detail she added to her home. I hope to use her design services someday. I should be so lucky. Her daughter, Marisa is not only an actress, but she is just starting her Country singing career so it was nice to be able to take some headshots for these lovely ladies.
We tried taking their family portraits with their adorable dogs, but the lifegaurds of Manhattan Beach busted us for having them on the sand. They shut that idea down really quick. They have strict rules on that beach, but we managed to grab some other great shots. Yay for that!

I’ve been photographing the Kim Family for several years now. They are such a lovely family, and I always look forward to seeing them each year. The kids, Rachel and Dillon, just keep getting bigger and bigger…smarter and smarter.
I shot their portrait session in the beautiful college town of Claremont…Scripps College to be exact. When Ann told me that Scripps was one of the colleges that she wanted her daughter to attend, I was blown away. It’s an amazing “all girl” college and such a beautiful campus. I haven’t even put that much thought into Bella’s college education, but perhaps I should. Thanks Ann for opening my mind to those possibilities.
And much more thanks for always entrusting me year after year to take these intimate portraits of you and your beautiful family. I am always honored.

For the second year, I had a blast photographing one of my favorite families, the Swartzon’s. Kristie and Saar have the most adorable girls, Teah and Sasha. One thing that I love most about photographing families year after year, is seeing how the kids grow up. It really brings tears to my eyes, now that I am a Mother and having my second child. Simply, they are just too precious and grow up too fast before our very eyes. We must savor every moment! Thank goodness for photographs, as they capture such precious moments in time that will fill our memories for years to come.

Fabulous hairstylist and makeup artist, Tessa Stull, gave birth to Josephine Stull on her husband’s birthday (September 19th). He said it was a wonderful birthday gift! Tessa and her husband, Andrew, are just beside themselves with joy and love for their precious little daughter. And I must say that she is a living doll.
I am so elated for my friends! I am looking forward to seeing Josephine grow to be a beautiful young lady. Congratulations!

My awesome friend, Maggie Dana designed this adorable “too cute for words” hat.
