Krista and Richard were married ten years ago. They recently renewed their vows at Weins Family Cellars in Temecula, California surrounded by their closest family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting them at a previous wedding (a few years back) I shot for Krista’s best friend, Jennifer.
I grew up listening to Richard Blade on the radio (KROQ). He was one of my favorite DJ’s. He is probably learning that for the first time while reading this. That’s right, Richard!
Krista and Richard are such a lovely couple…and so much fun. They have such energetic personalities, it’s contagious. One thing that I love most about them is their affection for animals…mostly dogs. Any person who loves and cares for animals as they do is A-OKAY in my book. They support A New Leash On Life, a charity that works to save animals that would otherwise be put down in the city of Los Angeles.
Something you should know…Richard is available to DJ your wedding or any other event you are planning. Can you believe that he even DJ’d his own party? And no, he DOES NOT ONLY play 80’s music. He’s awesome, so please check out his website for more details. You can also hear him on SIRIUS XM Radio.
Congratulations to you both. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your very special and touching day.

I get so excited to see the kids that I’ve worked with in the past grow up. I photographed Oliver when he was just a baby…and now look at this doll face! He just makes my heart go pitter patter.
Oliver’s Mommy and Daddy (Kristi and Jeremy) are my previous wedding clients. Word has it that they are expecting their second child early next year. I made sure to let Kristi know that she should not stop at two. Her and Jeremy make such gorgeous babies, I think they should keep on going. Hehe!
Words of advice…savor every waking moment. Children are the blessings of the world.

It was such a delight to have photographed this couple. You know when you just feel good about being around certain people? These are the people.
It’s a great idea for any couple to secure a portrait session with their wedding photographer prior to their wedding day. It allows you to bond with one another, get to a comfortable place which in turn creates an atmosphere where you can truly let your gaurd down and allow the photographer to capture the true essence of who you really are.
When I met Ruth and Michael for the first time, we enjoyed a lengthy conversation…mostly between Ruth and I. Michael seemed to be the more quiet of the two. I anticipated this to be the same during their e-session. However, Michael truly came out of his shell. It was a pleasant surprise. I noticed he enjoyed being in front of my camera, and that really he was an extrovert. He interacted very well with Ruth and created these wonderful true moments between the two. At one point, he even pulled out his guitar and began to play and sing aloud with many passerby’s.
I just love when my clients surprise me. Thanks Ruth and Michael for being a joy to work with. This is only a taste of what’s to come, and I am really looking forward to it.

Beautiful Kali modeled some of May Yeung’s fabulous bridal jewelry designs. Check out her other designs too by visiting her website…wonderful pieces!!! Make-Up Artist, Tessa, looked so darn cute that day, that I decided to pull her into a few of the shots as well.
The shoot ended with Kali and her hubbie, Mike. We ventured off into fields of wild flowers (where I lost my iphone) and other pastures where it suddenly became windy and quite cold. What troopers! Congratulations are in order for this fabulous duo, as they will be expecting their first child in months to come. Yay for babies!

Congratulations to Desiree for graduating high school! I remember when she was just a little girl. I can’t believe that she is all grown up now, and a beautiful woman at that! Where does the time go? I am so proud of her for having achieved this accomplishment and I am certainly looking forward to witnessing many more in her future to come.
