Beautiful Blake was born on January 29, 2010…my birthday!!! He is just one week younger than my Mia. It was such a wonderful treat to meet his parents, especially because we have recently gone through births so close together. Christen (Blake’s Mom) assured me that she was experiencing the same challenges I was. In fact, she gave me the name of a wonderful product, Nap Nanny, made for babies who suffer from Colic…something that Mia currently has and Bella did have. Christen’s Mom (Blake’s Grandma) was there to help…what a lovely lady she is. Even Frankie, the family cat, made an appearance in the photos. If it were up to him, he’d be in every photo. Haha!
Thank you to Carrie of What’s Kickin’ (a wonderful maternity/gift shop for kids located in Corona at the Dos Lagos Shops) for connecting us. I certainly look forward to many more portrait sessions with baby Blake while he continues to grow.

I’m proud to introduce our newest addition to the family. We are so in love with our daughter, Mia Luz. And Bella just adores being a big sis. I have to admit, it’s a handful, and I am still trying to adjust to family life with two kids and time management. Sleep is a thing of the past, but hopefully I will gain it back within the next few months or so. I’m really looking forward to that.
Mia Luz was born January 22nd at 12:25am (6 lbs, 0 oz). From water breaking to delivery it was only 8 hours. So what they say about the second birth being easier is true. With Bella it was 31 hours altogether. YIKES!!!
Thank you to all of our friends and family for your well wishes! We are looking forward to visiting with you soon.

My best friend, Lisa, and I along with her family get together every year for family portraits. It’s always a dilemma to choose a location that we all agree on. We had poor planning this year and had to make a decision the morning of…literally as we were heading out the door. This is so common for Lisa and I…just fits our personalities.
That morning, we decided on The Plantation House in Riverside. However, when we arrived there, we got kicked off the property before I was able to take one picture. We then headed down the street to The Mission Inn, where I was sure we would encounter the same problem. To my surprise, no one hassled us at all.
Of course, The Mission Inn has a special place in my heart as my husband and I exchanged vows there eight years ago next week. It’s a fabulous and breathtaking location, especially during the holidays. Needless to say, we really lucked out…and I was able to capture some great shots of the family…although, it is hard to take bad pics of this family…they’re all so photogenic!

Sasha and Ryan will be welcoming their first child in February. His name is Fisher, and I can’t wait to meet him. I am so thrilled for you guys!
It’s been a little over a year since I’ve seen Sasha and Ryan. They are my past wedding clients, and I was honored to get a call from them to take their maternity photos. It was so cute when Sasha and I greeted each other with a hug because our bellies bumped. She is just one month behind me with her pregnancy. We will have to compare notes soon.

Shana and Adrian recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy to this world. Maddox is so precious!
I met them at their home to take some intimate portraits of their new bundle of joy. He was such a wonderful model. It brought back all of the wonderful memories I have of my daughter when she was his age. How quickly time flies. This is why we need to savor and cherish these moments forever.

He’s winking at me. What a flirt!

The whole familia, including Mo. How cute is he?
