I’m proud to introduce our newest addition to the family. We are so in love with our daughter, Mia Luz. And Bella just adores being a big sis. I have to admit, it’s a handful, and I am still trying to adjust to family life with two kids and time management. Sleep is a thing of the past, but hopefully I will gain it back within the next few months or so. I’m really forward to that.
Mia Luz was born January 22nd at 12:25am (6 lbs, 0 oz). From water breaking to delivery it was only 8 hours. So what they say about the second birth being easier is true. With Bella it was 31 hours altogether. YIKES!!!
Thank you to all of our friends and family for your well wishes! We are looking forward to visiting with you soon.

My best friend, Lisa, and I along with her family get together every year for family portraits. It’s always a dilemma to choose a location that we all agree on. We had poor planning this year and had to make a decision the morning of…literally as we were heading out the door. This is so common for Lisa and I…just fits our personalities.
That morning, we decided on The Plantation House in Riverside. However, when we arrived there, we got kicked off the property before I was able to take one picture. We then headed down the street to The Mission Inn, where I was sure we would encounter the same problem. To my surprise, no one hassled us at all.
Of course, The Mission Inn has a special place in my heart as my husband and I exchanged vows there eight years ago next week. It’s a fabulous and breathtaking location, especially during the holidays. Needless to say, we really lucked out…and I was able to capture some great shots of the family…although, it is hard to take bad pics of this family…they’re all so photogenic!

Sasha and Ryan will be welcoming their first child in February. His name is Fisher, and I can’t wait to meet him. I am so thrilled for you guys!
It’s been a little over a year since I’ve seen Sasha and Ryan. They are my past wedding clients, and I was honored to get a call from them to take their maternity photos. It was so cute when Sasha and I greeted each other with a hug because our bellies bumped. She is just one month behind me with her pregnancy. We will have to compare notes soon.

Shana and Adrian recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy to this world. Maddox is so precious!
I met them at their home to take some intimate portraits of their new bundle of joy. He was such a wonderful model. It brought back all of the wonderful memories I have of my daughter when she was his age. How quickly time flies. This is why we need to savor and cherish these moments forever.

He’s winking at me. What a flirt!

The whole familia, including Mo. How cute is he?

This family is FUN!!! I had a wonderful time photographing The Vitta’s. They are good friends of my past client’s, and when they called me to photograph their family, I was so thrilled. We started off in their beautiful Manhattan Beach home, and then ended the session on the sand a few short blocks away.
Mom, Lisa is a very talented interior designer and actress. I was amazed at every polished detail she added to her home. I hope to use her design services someday. I should be so lucky. Her daughter, Marisa is not only an actress, but she is just starting her Country singing career so it was nice to be able to take some headshots for these lovely ladies.
We tried taking their family portraits with their adorable dogs, but the lifegaurds of Manhattan Beach busted us for having them on the sand. They shut that idea down really quick. They have strict rules on that beach, but we managed to grab some other great shots. Yay for that!
