Gorgeous couple, Christiana and Paul wed very close to where I grew up, but never have I been to this hidden gem of a private golf course (Friendly Hills Country Club). What a beautiful location to exchange vows.
Christiana and Paul have known each other since they were kids. Christiana’s best friend is Paul’s sister. One day Paul saw a pic of Christiana all grown up and he urged his sis to tell Christiana, “What’s Up!” They began dating shortly after. It’s a really cute story.
One thing that I love about this couple (aside from them being picture perfect)…they are super laid back. After the ceremony and just before the reception, there was a power outage in the whole neighborhood. It lasted for hours. They decided to continue with the party with the only available light there was…thankfully to the DJ/Lighting vendor whom provided mood lighting that was battery operated. A generator was ordered, and the DJ was then able to start the music. It was a great party. And from the looks of the pictures, you would never know that we were shooting in the dark.
The lights eventually came back on just minutes before my departure.
Congratulations Christiana and Paul! I hope your life together is filled with much happiness and love.
