I love working with friends of previous clients…especially when those people are Alison and Micah. They met while working together…Micah was Alison’s boss at one time. Can you imagine how fun that would be?
When you meet Alison and Micah, you can’t help but to love being in their company. They had me completely enthralled while explaining how they got engaged. Micah went to some length to make it a rather special one, and while it may not have played out exactly as planned, it was creative to say the least. He proposed on the back of a vintage puzzle. I believe that the puzzle was over one thousand pieces and he and Alison worked at it all night until the words on the back of the puzzle were revealed. I just simply love this idea.
The lovely couple said “I Do” at the swank venue, Smog Shoppe. They were surrounded by truly lovely people that helped to celebrate this very special day. The group was intimate enough that Alison was quick to notice wedding crashers on the dance floor and immediately had them escorted out. Way to go Alison…my kind of girl.
Congratulations to the newlyweds. Jen and I had a blast working with you. It was all kinds of great! We couldn’t be happier for you. We wish for you, everlasting love!

I love how easy it is to meet clients these days. Jennie, Eric and I planned to meet via Google Chat to discuss the details of their special day. It was great…and all from the comfort of our own homes. I made a joke with Jennie that I’d still have to put makeup on for our meeting. Haha!
Jennie and Eric live in the Bay area, and flew in for the weekend for their engagement session. They chose Griffith Observatory for their backdrop because they wanted a combination of architecture and nature. What a fantastic choice!
We had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding areas. Jennie was the biggest trooper of them all because she hiked with flip flops and heels. Way to go Jennie!
I’m looking forward to their October wedding at the beautiful Ahmanson Ranch nestled in the Malibu hills. It’s going to be gorgeous.

One of my favorite families added to their foursome…a beautiful baby girl named Drew. I had the pleasure of being in the hospital with Tessa and Andrew just after giving birth to her. She’s such a sweet, sweet baby.
We had a busy photo session…it’s never a dull moment with kids. One thing I love about photographing kids is how unpredictable they are. As a photographer, you have to learn to work on the child’s time. They certainly don’t work on yours. There is never a shortage of bribery. Haha! Kids are smarter than we think. Those clever little one’s!!!
Congrats to my friends on their newest addition. I’m looking forward to seeing the kiddos grow.

My dear friend Jossara is getting married!!!! Joss and I met during an audition for the feature film, GB2525. She was the lead female character and I was auditioning for the role of her best friend. As I know the story, she had a hand in the casting of my role and she really pulled for me. Once production started, we became fast friends. I’ll never forget the day we were rehearsing fighting techniques with a specialist and she was my partner. There was a time where she “accidentally” punched me on my nose. Ouch! I had a choice to either love her or hate her at that time…I decided to love her. Good thing I did, because I simply adore her and value the friendship that we’ve carried for almost ten years now.
My family and I were vacationing in Hawaii when I received the phone call that she was getting married! I was so elated to hear the news. And guess what? She’s exchanging vows in Buenos Aires, Argentina (the hometown of Matias). It has been so fun chatting with her about the details of her special day. I, along with a few of her other girlfriends had the honor of witnessing her trying on gowns. It was unanimous when she strutted out in a Stephen Yearick stunner. She was absolutely breathtaking and the tears started rolling down each and every one of our cheeks.
We had a brilliant time shooting their engagement photos in Downtown Los Angeles.
I can’t share with you enough how happy I am that Joss found the love of her life. I wish her all the happiness in the world….and, one or two bambinos. Hehe! Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
